Masti Millet Mix
Masti Millet Mix, a simple millet-based malted drink mix with a combination of Pearl millet, Foxtail millet, Great millet, Finger millet, and Little millet. They have long been the staple food in the country. Millets are a storehouse of nutrients that nourish and nurture. They contain many essential vitamins and micronutrients. Also rich in B vitamins, especially niacin, B6 and folic acid. Added to that they were good sources for minerals calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium and zinc.
Millets are also higher in fibre, lower in fat, gluten-free and non-acid forming foods. All millet varieties show high antioxidant activity. In fact, it is recommended to prepare millets in the form of porridge for growing kids and aging adults. They should be parted in our daily diet. Millet is basically alkaline in nature and digests easily. It keeps the body hydrated and hence removes constipation. The magnesium levels in the millets help reduce the effects of migraines and heart attacks. Millet consumption decreases triglycerides and C-reactive protein. And mainly, millets are non-allergenic.

Millet Porridge or Millet Malt
Step 1. Pour half glass (100ml) of plain water in a container.
Step 2. Add 3 teaspoons of Ammae Millet Mix to the same.
Step 3. Mix the powder thoroughly without any lumps until it gets dissolved.
Step 4. Place the container with the mix in a stove and keep the fire in low mode.
Step 5. Stir the mix continuously to avoid sticking to the pan.
Step 6. Cook it for 2 to 3 minutes and pour hot milk to the mix and stir well.
Step 7. Add sugar to taste and Millet malt is ready to drink.
